Who we are
We are a progressive organization, we are anti-racist, support the Black Lives Matter Movement, fight for LGBTQ rights, and believe housing and healthcare is a human right. SGV Progressive Action is an organization and platform for the gathering of progressives who seek to coordinate collective action to address social challenges in the San Gabriel Valley and beyond. San Gabriel Valley Progressive Action is not tied to a specific political party or nonprofit organization.
Our guiding principles
San Gabriel Valley Progressive Action is an organization welcome to all people dedicated to these principles:
A commitment to building critical mass and to be committed in ending every oppression of race, gender, sexual orientation, ability, national origin, and all other forms of social domination.
Recognition of the rights of all people to be free from imperialism, colonialism, economic injustice, and war.
A commitment to seeking and supporting solutions in overcoming unfettered capitalism and achieving a sustainable economy for all.
