Who are we?
Alhambra Community Alliance is a grassroots, progressive organization dedicated to advancing equity and sustainability in Alhambra. We are not affiliated with any political party.
Our work is rooted in supporting residents, uplifting local voices, and advocating for policies that create a more inclusive, affordable, and environmentally sustainable city where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Guiding Principles
Alhambra Community Alliance welcomes all people who are committed to these principles:
A commitment to building an inclusive community and ending all forms of oppression based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion, national origin, immigration status, and all other forms of discrimination.
A belief that every resident deserves safe neighborhoods, affordable housing, clean air and water, accessible transportation, quality public spaces, and opportunities to live with dignity.
A commitment to environmental stewardship, climate action, and policies that protect public health while promoting sustainable growth and responsible development.
A commitment to advancing economic justice by supporting workers, small businesses, and policies that create a more equitable and sustainable local economy.
A belief that our city's strength comes from its diversity and that public policy should reflect the needs and voices of the entire community.
